|Position Description:||The Human Resources Manager is responsible for Employee Relations for University Staff and Academic staff, by analyzing and evaluating employee relations issues and various courses of action to consistently and effectively resolve issues and concerns. The Human Resources Manager will serve as a consultant and coach to employees and supervisors, advising on consistent policy administration, performance evaluation, employee retention and legal compliance. The Manager will investigate, analyze and determine appropriate plans of action for conflict resolution, mediation, and disciplinary situations in assigned areas.|
In addition, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Payroll and Benefits function for the Office of Human Resources, as well as supervision of the Training Coordinator. Other responsibilities to include Affirmative Action Plan creation, annual performance evaluation tracking and follow up, committee participation, invoice processing and budgeting assistance, and HRIS integrity/oversight.
