Position Information


Position Description:The Employee Relations and Equity Coordinator assists and supports the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition and Management in carrying out policies and procedures relating to a variety of human resources functions. The work involves assisting in developing programs and policies related to employee relations, recruitment, staffing and unemployment. Employee is also responsible for interpreting existing personnel ordinances, policies and procedures; addressing employee complaints or concerns. Employee must exercise initiative and independent judgment in ensuring proper administration of personnel programs.

At a minimum the selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related degree with three (3) or more years of experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, regulatory, federal and state compliance or related fields. The preferred candidate will have a Master’s degree in human resources or related degree with five (5) or more years of experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, regulatory, federal and state compliance or related fields.
