Data Analytics for the 21st Century: Maximizing Reward While Mitigating Risk
Workforce diversity is essential for a healthy university, and speculation of pay bias can undermine both employee and community perceptions of the institution. Universities must develop programs across campus that are equitable and mitigate risk in order to be the best protection against hidden pay bias. Pay programs built around sound data analytics, the consistent application of policy, and defensible pay decisions help to ensure a staff and faculty that are both high-performing and reflective of a global workforce. This presentation will share findings from actual studies, including the direct experiences of Butler University, and encourage discussion among attendees. You'll leave with tactical ways to apply rigorous, data-driven analytics in the design of compensation programs to help secure HR’s seat at the table.
