ADAAA: The Interactive Process Simplified

This session will examine key issues, challenges and risks involving workplace accommodation requests and the interactive process that is required under Title I of the ADA. When should a reasonable accommodation be considered? Is this condition really a disability? What are the employer's and employee’s responsibilities under the ADA? We’ll answer these questions and more in this session. We’ll also discuss how to recognize a request, manage ongoing requests, reasonable accommodation, undue hardship, discipline and other complex issues.
