Designing a Satisfying, Self-Directed Life after Work
Most of us look forward to, and are saving for, the day when we no longer need to set our alarm clocks to head off to work. We spend roughly the first third of our lives learning, the second third earning and the last third enjoying the fruits of our labor in retirement. While we are often encouraged to save for the future, many people never consider how they are actually going to spend that time. In this workshop, we’ll focus on what you really care about — the non-financial aspects of retiring. That may be travel and leisure for some or continuing work on your own terms for others. We’ll also take a quick look at some financial resources available from TIAA to help achieve that vision. Our goal is to set you on course to building a satisfying, self-directed life after work.
