Extensive Needs Assessment as a Tool to Improve Faculty Recruiting Outcomes
In an attempt to assess the effectiveness of faculty recruiting, IU School of Medicine’s faculty affairs team designed, executed and analyzed the results of an Extensive Needs Assessment in 2017-18. To validate and prioritize areas for improvement, the school conducted a qualitative research project with three crosscutting themes: diversity, timeliness and service quality. Presenters will explain research design and results, as well as planned improvement initiatives and those underway.
