Meeting Disability With Creativity and Understanding

Nearly 20 percent of the employed population has a disability. As HR professionals, we must learn to see the wholeness of those with disabilities, and listen to the stories and understand the unique gifts they bring to our campuses. Come learn about the innovative ways that the Rhode Island School of Design is creatively addressing this issue and hear about the challenges and successes your peers face while embracing disability in their communities. Return to campus with more skills, better language and more confidence when addressing disability concerns.
