Description:All data hold stories. Data visualizations are one way to bring those stories to life. Whether we are creating a single chart or an entire report, how we choose to display those stories matters. In this presentation, you will learn some of the key principles that create great data visualizations, including the use of ink, text, size, shape and color. In addition, you will be introduced to some simple resources for moving beyond Excel into online tools for creating beautiful, interactive graphics to help better tell your data stories.
