If you're involved in the search committee process for positions on your campus, this new course will provide you with tools and resources to help you add value to the process and lead efforts to build a more diverse candidate pool for both faculty and staff positions. When considering how your institution will achieve its goals of excellence, few decisions are more important than those related to hiring. An institution that hires well (or poorly) is sure to feel the impact of those decisions. By taking this course, you'll learn how to disrupt the status quo of search committees on campus; overcome barriers and biases in the search process; and enrich the candidate pool for faculty and staff positions.
