Position Information


Position Description:This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of employee relations programs and policies. The Position partners with university managers and employees regarding facilitation of positive employee/employer relationships, performance management and employee development, creative dispute resolution, and progressive discipline. Position provides guidance and direction toward compliance with various state and federal laws and university policies including unemployment compensation, leave and disability programs, leave sharing, workers compensation and on the job injuries, and complaints/grievances. Position supports training as subject matter expert in areas of position responsibility along with facilitating workplace climate/culture studies. Position investigates disputes, accusations and formal charges and develops responses.
