Position Description:Weber State University is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Vice President for Human Resources. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Administrative Services and will be the Chief Human Resources Officer for the University.

Weber State University is a Comprehensive Regional University located in Ogden, Utah, with an annual enrollment of approximately 26,000 students, 1,600 full-time faculty and staff, and 2,000 seasonal/hourly employees.

The Assistant Vice President for Human Resources will direct a staff of Human Resource Professionals and Specialists in developing and administering human resources policies and programs for the University.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree, 6-years of supervisory experience and 5-years experience working at the university or college level.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree, experience working in Human Resources, proven and positive customer-service leadership, excellent communication skills including conflict resolution, experience developing and implementing policies in Higher Education.
