Position Description:Director, People Services and Systems

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position will serve to further enhance the capability of human resource services and the leadership provided to the institution ensuring that the people center team is a trusted source of advice and assistance for all people of Champlain College. Through the lens of Champlain Colleges 2025 Strategic Framework, the Director will work directly with the VP of HR in leading both the department and the function more broadly across the College. The Director will co-lead the daily operations of the People Center to support the successful development and management practices in HRIS systems, strategy, compensation, job description and policy management, benefits, payroll, data analysis and metrics, union contract administration, change management, regulatory compliance and serve the institution as the liaison to the GMHEC. Through collaboration, relationship building, influencing, and inclusion, the Director will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner throughout the institution.
