Description:This session will provide invaluable insight into the dos and don'ts of constructing Title IX investigative reports, specifically the major sections that each report should contain; the importance of identifying each claim being investigated; how to capture and report on statements made by the parties; the inclusion and evaluation of evidence; and conducting analyses of the credibility of the parties. Attendees will also be instructed in the Title IX and Clery Act implications of conducting investigations and in providing due process to the parties with regard to obtaining the information contained in the investigative report.
