Description:CUPA-HR has collected data for more than 50 years, and our surveys are now collecting more information than ever. This session will present an overview of the latest findings from the 2019-20 survey results, with a specific focus on salary and higher education workforce data. We will present findings from our flagship surveys — Administrators, Professionals, Staff, and Faculty — and look at race/ethnicity, gender, age and more. We will also discuss exempt status for professional employees in the context of 2020 FLSA overtime rule changes.

Description:Employee financial well-being is a growing focus for employers across all sectors of the economy, including higher education. This session will leverage findings from the TIAA Institute/CUPA-HR 2019 Higher Education Financial Wellness Survey to examine financial practices and well-being among the full-time higher ed workforce, with a particular focus on retirement readiness. The survey provides HR leadership and staff with sector-specific insights on areas for improving employee financial wellness.
